(1945-)
   US writer and neurobiologist whose first sf novel, Gloryhits (1978) with Mark Noble, deals with a recombinant-DNA disaster. His second, The California Coven Project (1981), similarly exploits his professional knowledge in a NEAR FUTURE venue.
