   UK writer and naval architect, author of 3 future- WAR novels - The Broken Trident (1926), The Naviators (1926) and The Harbour of Death (1927) - in all of which the UK is warned to beware remaining unduly dependent upon her navy; the dire consequences of so doing are dramatized in imaginary conflicts with-presciently - both Germany and Japan.
